In co-operation with the Science Institutes a new kind of biogas production, the drying fermentation,
was developed and produced in Germany.
It was reached that by the interaction of micro-biological operational sequences and high-tech–process
measurement with the accordingly developed SPS control, methane can be economically extracted from firm biomasses.
Actually the natural process of the drying fermentation of biomasses is already many thousand years old.
Only the economic realization could be managed nowadays. A new era of the regenerative power production can be introduced.
The drying fermentation system differs from past conventional and traditional wet fermenting systems by the following crucial arguments:
-
Fermenter, incl. heating system
-
Gas carrier
-
Gasmain, incl. Gas gauge
-
Compressor
-
Percolatsystem (microbiology)
-
Biofiltersystem
Subsystems
-
The required biomass must not be liquefied, thus no waste water problem, no applying of the liquid manure to fields is necessary.
-
The required fermenter can be built smaller, therefore investment costs can be saved.
-
The fermented biomass is odor neutral and can in its original condition be processed, used as natural fertilizer or composted and marketed.
-
The total investment costs are substantially lower than with conventional procedures
-
The activity costs are lower
-
The complete process cycle can be completely automated by the discontinuous batch procedure
-
High biogas production with outstanding gas quality and thus little wear in the block heat and power plant (BHKW).
-
To a large extent freely of wearing parts and thus large reliability
-
Small space is required
